We had our gender reveal party yesterday. It was fun! We went to monicals and had pizza and hung out with our family and friends. Out of 15 people 3 guessed team pink and the rest were team blue.
So we ate our pizza and then it was cookies for dessert. The cookies had the reveal color in them.
It was pink! Evie is going to have a little sister, Ori. We're super excited and I can't wait!
We had a really fun day yesterday. First we git up early and went to breakfast at IHOP. Nothing like french toast and ham breakfast, mm mm.
Then we made a stop at the farm park. Totally cute! When we first walked in you could hear the sheep "baaa-ing" and Evie started doing it too. It was the cutest thing ever and the first time she's really interacted like that with the animals. Made my heart smile. We let her feed the sheep and the goats and she thought it was fun, but the snatchy ducks came up and started stealing the pieces of cone we gave to her and she got a little timid.
They got new baby goats and bunnies and some older big bunnies. I probably had the most fun there that I've ever had there yesterday.
Oh and I almost forgot, it's 16 weeks now! Only 24 to go haha. We find out the gender the 23rd but are having a reveal party the 25th.
Father's day was fun stuff. Evie and I took Daddy to Steak n Shake for lunch. Then we went to the playground at the farm park and played. Before all of this we let Daddy play his new game he got. It was a pretty relaxing weekend for all of us.
Evie is getting all 4 of her top teeth in at once. I think 2 have poked through but there are still 2 more on their way. She doesn't exactly cooperate so I can look at them. :) She is so big, she started walking on May 19th and is loving it. She will literally just walk in big circles all day.
I don't think I've mentioned this yet but baby # 2 is on it's way. I'm 13 weeks today and finally starting to feel like a human again. I was so sick from like week 5-12 that I couldn't he out of bed some days. I hope it doesn't come back. Also, we should find out the sex soon! Exciting stuff!
Well, Evie's party went really well. Everyone had a good time and Evie had a blast. She started to get tired, so she wasn't really into unwrapping presents. She devoured her cupcake like a champ! She got lots of goodies too!
More exciting news, we're preggo with baby #2! Hating this first trimester, but trying to stay positive. The morning sickness/nausea is killing me and I hate not being with my family. :(
Today is Evie's birthday. I cannot believe how big she is. She is great and amazing. I love her so much amd am so proud of her.
So we planned a big shabang for her and invited family and some friends. Super excited because I know she will have lots of fun. We are getting her a play house/tent. We had the hardest time deciding what to get her. We ended up waiting until the last minute and I think we found the perfect thing for her.
We stayed up pretty late last night getting everything ready. We made cupcakes, puppy chow, and dog bone pretzels. Plus we have scooby snacks and cotton candy. We made lemonade for "puppy pee."
So my little E is growing up so fast! Yesterday she went down the slide all by herself! Then today she climbed on to the chair! I can't believe how amazing she is!
I got the invites finished for her party, thanks to Andrew. Just have to slip them in the mail tomorrow. Woohoo. 28 days until she is a 1 year old.
My big girl tunred 11 months yesterday! She's so big. I'm so proud of her all the time, she's so much fun and very smart. I can't believe she's going to be a year old next mont, it just doesn't seem like it's been that long since we were in the hospital.
So we're getting ready for her party (you know because you saw the pics last time) and I still have a lot to do. I have to get the invitations finished, make food labels, make a 1 year timeline of her, and so much more! But, I still have a konth left. Which means I will continue to procrastinate...
